Studley Wood Golf Club offers a beautifully kept parkland golf experience that feels peaceful, polished, and wonderfully rewarding to play. Designed by Simon Gidman, the 18-hole par-73 course wraps around 44 acres of ancient woodland, creating a scenic setting where every hole has its own personality and challenge. Two loops of nine holes run in opposite directions around the woodland, giving the round a great flow and plenty of variety.
The course is well regarded for the exceptional quality of its greens, and it rewards smart golf—think accurate placement, confident approach shots, and a steady short game. Water features and bold bunkering add interest and strategy throughout, with the layout able to feel approachable for social rounds while still offering a stern test when you want it.
Off the course, it’s a great all-round venue for golfers: visitors can make the most of practice facilities including an all-weather driving range plus short-game areas, and the clubhouse is a comfortable place to relax afterwards with food and drink.
